I. Product Details

SURFYNOL 485 is an ethoxylated acetylenic diol with low dynamic surface tension, non-ionic properties, good compatibility, and an HLB value of 8. It is recommended for use in water-based inks, water-based coatings, and water-based adhesive industries.

II. Performance Characteristics

SURFYNOL 485 is a Gemini non-ionic surfactant with excellent hydrophilicity, wetting, and low-foaming properties. It effectively reduces the surface tension of water-based systems, particularly dynamic surface tension.

IV. Recommended Dosage

The suggested addition amount is 0.1% - 1%, and the process requires high-speed stirring for 30 minutes.
