White needle-like trisodium phosphate

Trisodium phosphate, colorless to white needle-like crystals or crystalline powder, dodecahydrate melting point 73.4°C. Soluble in water, its aqueous solution is strongly alkaline, easily deliquesces and weathers in dry air, forming disodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium bicarbonate. In water, it almost completely decomposes into disodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium hydroxide. Heated to 55-65°C, it becomes decahydrate; heated to 60-100°C, it becomes hexahydrate; heated above 100°C, it becomes monohydrate; heated above 212°C, it becomes anhydrous.

Inject the prepared trisodium phosphate solution into the equipment and pipelines to be treated, apply atmospheric pressure or pressurize to 0.15-0.2MPa, then heat and boil for no less than 24 hours, allow natural cooling. When the temperature drops to about 50°C, discharge all the alkali solution. Immediately open the equipment or pipelines, and flush with clean water to remove residues and precipitates.
