Thiourea is an organic sulfur compound with the chemical formula CH₄N₂S. It appears as white, lustrous crystals with a bitter taste, a density of 1.41 g/cm³, and a melting point of 176–178°C.

Thiourea is used as a raw material in dyes, resins, and molding powders, and also serves as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber and a flotation agent for metal minerals.
