Usage: The most important application of test stations is the measurement of cathodic protection potential, commonly used to test the cathodic protection potential of underground or underwater metal structures such as storage tanks and pipelines. During use, one or more zero-reference cables are welded to the protected structure as needed and connected to the terminals inside the test station. Simultaneously, one or more reference electrode cables are also connected to the terminals of the test station. The terminals are independent and not interconnected. Test stations can also be used for wiring purposes; when used for wiring, specialized connecting links are used to connect the corresponding terminals.
