Product Characteristics and Applications
1. Soluble in water, methanol, ethanol; insoluble in mineral oil. Used as an emulsifier, dispersant, wetting agent, solubilizer, and stabilizer in industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food.
2. Used as a stabilizer and foaming aid in the production of polyurethane foam; serves as an antistatic agent in synthetic fibers and is an intermediate for chemical fiber oils; employed as a wetting agent and water-soluble emulsifier in the production of photographic materials and film, often mixed with S-80.
3. Used as an emulsifier, paraffin inhibitor, heavy oil wetting agent, drag reducer, and near-wellbore treatment agent in oilfields; also used in the formulation of lubricating and cooling fluids for precision machine tools.
