This installation method has relatively low initial construction costs.

(2) For new buildings under construction or in the design phase, BIPV can be considered, combining solar cell components with building materials to serve as architectural elements or external surface materials. Alternatively, specialized components can be directly used as roofing or curtain wall materials to cover the building surface, making the photovoltaic components an integral part of the building.
