Weaving Process
River protection gabion mesh adopts a crocheting process. First, the gabion mesh machine processes the metal wires into flat spiral semi-finished products, which are then interwoven in a spiral manner. This weaving method ensures uniform mesh openings and a flat surface, providing excellent impact resistance. When subjected to external impact, it is less prone to deformation or damage.

• Wire Diameter: Common wire diameters range from 1.4mm to 6.0mm. Generally, river protection gabion mesh uses relatively thicker wires, such as 2.5mm to 6.0mm, to ensure sufficient strength and stability.
• Mesh Size: Mesh sizes vary, such as 5cm×5cm, 6cm×6cm, 7cm×7cm, 8cm×8cm, etc. Larger mesh sizes are suitable for scenarios where protection requirements are not highly detailed, such as overall protection of river slopes; smaller mesh sizes can be used to prevent small animals from entering the river or for areas requiring higher precision protection.
• Mesh Panel Dimensions: The width and length of the mesh panels can be customized according to actual needs. Common widths generally range from 0.5m to 6m, while lengths range from 5m to 50m.
