8077/1-20 Explosion-proof Limit Switch Purpose For use in circuits with AC 50Hz, voltage up to 550V, and DC voltage up to 500V, to detect the travel of working machinery and control its direction of movement or travel distance. ■Structural Overview The limit switch consists of a housing (shell, cover), transmission head, and flameproof micro switch. The housing features an increased safety structure, made from lightweight aluminum alloy with a magnesium content not exceeding 0.5%, and is epoxy powder-coated for an aesthetically pleasing appearance and excellent impact resistance. The micro switch is fixed inside the housing, and the transmission head is mounted at the top of the housing. As the lever rotates or the push rod moves, the switch contacts open or close. A sealing ring is installed between the cover and the shell, secured with stainless steel screws, ensuring the housing meets IP54 protection rating. The flameproof micro switch is compact, highly reliable, small in size, and offers high switching capacity and long service life, making it an advanced supporting component. ■Technical Data The rated insulation voltage of the limit switch is AC 500V, with a conventional thermal current of 10A.
