Ordinary workers can begin continuous forging tasks within ten minutes of starting the medium frequency electric furnace, eliminating the need for specialized furnace operators to preheat and seal the furnace. There is no worry about waste caused by power outages or equipment failures leading to heated billets in coal furnaces. Because this heating method achieves rapid temperature rise, oxidation is minimal. Compared to coal furnaces, it saves at least 20-50 kg of steel raw material per ton of forging, with a material utilization rate of up to 95%. Due to uniform heating and minimal core-to-surface temperature difference, it significantly extends the lifespan of forging dies and results in a surface roughness of less than 50um for the forgings.
