Description
Additional Information

The EF5000 Vascular Endothelium Detector is a non-invasive system for assessing vascular endothelial function, enabling early screening for the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The product has obtained China Class II Medical Device Registration Certificate.

Vascular endothelial function testing is an examination method that professionally evaluates the health status of the vascular endothelium, playing an indispensable role in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. This test can detect abnormalities in the vascular endothelium at an early stage, providing a strong basis for early diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Vascular endothelial testing is an important examination method that evaluates the function of vascular endothelial cells to determine vascular health status. Endothelial cells are a single layer of cells lining the inner walls of blood vessels, with functions such as regulating vascular tension, maintaining blood fluidity, and participating in inflammatory responses. Detecting endothelial dysfunction helps in the early identification of risks for diseases such as arteriosclerosis, hypertension, and diabetic vascular complications.

When vascular endothelial function is impaired, it may lead to a series of cardiovascular diseases, such as atherosclerosis and hypertension. Through vascular endothelial function testing, doctors can promptly detect abnormalities in a patient's vascular endothelial function and take corresponding intervention measures, such as adjusting lifestyle, controlling diet, or administering appropriate medication. During the treatment process, regular testing can also help doctors evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and adjust the treatment plan.

Vascular endothelial injury is a common pathological basis for various cardiovascular diseases. By testing endothelial function, the elasticity, contraction and dilation capacity, and microcirculation status of blood vessels can be assessed, providing a basis for early intervention. For example, when endothelial cells are damaged, they may release abnormal biomarkers (such as endothelin-1) or lead to reduced vasodilation capacity, both of which can be detected through specific methods.

The EF5000 Vascular Endothelium Detector uses a fingertip sensor to measure changes in endothelial-mediated vascular tension, capturing changes in fingertip pulse wave amplitude before and after 5 minutes of brachial artery occlusion. The standard 5-minute brachial artery occlusion induces a downstream ischemic response, indirectly measuring the degree of vascular dilation and contraction.

The device uses fingertip arterial tonometry technology to assess vascular endothelial function and thereby evaluate the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Advantages:

1. This method is non-invasive, fast, safe, and effective.

2. No prior preparation or fasting is required; the examination takes 15 minutes.

3. Can be operated by a junior technician after simple training.

The technical pathway is as follows: Using fingertip arterial tonometry technology (i.e., PAT technology), a standard blood pressure cuff is inflated to occlude the brachial artery for 5 minutes. After cuff deflation, blood flow impact causes endothelial-dependent flow-mediated vasodilation. This dilation manifests as reactive hyperemia, which is captured in a timely manner by high-precision biosensors as an increase in fingertip arterial tension signal amplitude and quantified. Additionally, the device is equipped with a specially developed digital operating system and intelligent software algorithm. This algorithm calculates the ratio of fingertip arterial tension signal amplitude before and after brachial artery occlusion to derive an assessment index of vascular endothelial dysfunction. Based on this, the level of the index can determine whether the subject has vascular endothelial dysfunction.
