The MonyPumps F 9000 high-precision metering gear pump is widely used for industrial fluid metering. Its design incorporates AGMA high-standard external gears with geometric profiles, which are precisely matched with the pump's internal cavity to ensure accurate fluid displacement per revolution.

Applications of Gear Metering Pumps 

Used for metering and transferring fluids with viscosities ranging from 1 to 500,000 centipoise (0.001~500 Pa·s) and allowing slight corrosion.

Precision Metering

The internal structure of Mony gear metering pumps is simple, with advanced processing technology. All internal pump components are precision ground, with dimensional errors controlled within 0.0005 inches, ensuring minimal internal clearances to improve volumetric efficiency, guarantee output flow accuracy, and reduce the impact of external working condition changes on metering precision. Utilizing the accuracy of Mony metering pumps, various additives can be precisely metered and uniformly injected into corresponding chemical raw materials for the production of final products. This application is widely used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, detergents, papermaking, petrochemicals, rubber and plastics, paint manufacturing, polyurethane, and other fine and general chemical industries. It is also used in tobacco, brewing, beverages, and food industries for metering auxiliary materials such as flavorings, vitamins, and food colorings to ensure product quality and control production costs.

Coating Process

Compared to other metering pumps (such as piston pumps and diaphragm pumps), gear metering pumps offer pulsation-free output, making them particularly suitable for coating processes. Currently, Mony gear metering pumps are widely used in the production of photographic films, photographic paper, and PS printing plates for spraying photosensitive emulsions, as well as in the production of magnetic tapes, disks, and IC cards for spraying magnetic slurries, meeting the high-quality requirements of these products for coating processes. This characteristic is also used in surface spraying, such as in the automotive industry. Specially designed Mony gear metering pumps can also feature quick cleaning, meeting the requirement for rapid paint changes during production.

Metering and Transfer of High-Viscosity Materials

Working Principle of Gear Pumps involves a pair of meshing gears and the pump body forming enclosed gear spaces, transferring material from the pump inlet to the outlet. At the outlet, the meshing of the gears reduces the enclosed space, thereby extruding the material out of the pump. Thus, gear pumps do not have check valve mechanisms. This structural feature makes gear pumps most suitable for metering and transferring high-viscosity fluids, overcoming the issues of reduced pump efficiency, inaccurate metering, or failure to operate that occur in reciprocating pumps (such as piston and diaphragm pumps) due to check valve sticking or incomplete closure when handling high-viscosity materials. Mony gear metering pumps can be used in the production of hot melt adhesives, adhesives, and polymer products. They are also widely used in other industries, such as self-adhesive labels, tapes, automotive windshield bonding, engine cylinder head seals, and the production of electronic components and rubber and plastic products.
