Condensing gas boiler burner failure

1. Power on, press start, motor does not rotate

     (1) Condensing gas boiler locked due to insufficient air pressure; adjust pressure to specified value.

     (2) Solenoid valve leaking, gas leakage at joints, check and lock; clean or repair solenoid valve pipe joints.

     (3) Thermal relay open circuit; reset and check for damaged components and motor current.

     (4) At least one condition in the circuit is not met (water level, pressure, temperature, and whether the programmer is powered on); check if water level, pressure, or temperature exceeds limits.

2. Condensing gas boiler pre-purge normal after startup, but ignition fails

     (1) Insufficient ignition gas supply, check circuit and repair.

     (2) Solenoid valve not working (main valve, ignition valve); replace.

     (3) Solenoid valve burnt out; replace.

     (4) Unstable air pressure; adjust pressure to specified value.

     (5) Excessive air volume; reduce air distribution and damper opening.

3. Condensing gas boiler fails to ignite, air pressure normal, power available but no spark

     (1) Ignition transformer burnt out; replace.

     (2) High-voltage line damaged or detached; reinstall or replace.

     (3) Gap too large or too small, incorrect ignition rod position; adjust position.

     (4) Electrode cracked or short-circuited to ground; reinstall or replace.

4. Condensing gas boiler flame extinguishes within 5 seconds after ignition

     (1) Insufficient air pressure, large pressure drop, low gas supply flow; readjust pressure, clean filter.

     (2) Air volume too low, incomplete combustion, thick smoke; adjust air volume.

     (3) Air volume too high, white gas appears; adjust air volume.

5. White smoke

     (1) Air volume too low; reduce damper opening.

     (2) Air humidity too high; appropriately reduce air volume, increase intake air temperature.

     (3) Low flue gas temperature; take measures to increase flue gas temperature.

6. Condensing gas boiler damper stops under control state

     Damper position switch signal not fed back to program signal; check if damper wiring is loose or switch is faulty.

7. Burner motor does not rotate

     (1) No voltage; connect circuit.

     (2) Fuse damaged; replace fuse.

     (3) Motor malfunction; repair.

     (4) Control circuit interrupted; locate breakpoint, connect or disconnect regulator or monitor.

     (5) Gas supply interrupted; open ball valve, notify gas authority if gas supply is insufficient for an extended period.

     (6) Control malfunction; replace.

     (7) Contactor not working; manually reset and test.

     (8) Thermal relay damaged; replace thermal relay.

8. Burner motor runs but stops after pre-purge

     (1) Air pressure switch malfunction; replace.

     (2) Pressure switch contaminated, pipe blocked; clean.

     (3) Solenoid valve not sealing; repair or replace solenoid valve.

9. Condensing gas boiler burner motor runs, voltage applied to controller terminal 16, no ignition, fault shutdown after a short time

     (1) Ignition electrode gap too large; adjust electrode spacing.

     (2) Contaminated; clean thoroughly.

     (3) Ignition electrode or circuit grounded; eliminate grounding, replace damaged electrode or cable.

     (4) Ignition transformer malfunction; replace ignition transformer.

10. Motor runs, ignition normal, but fault shutdown after a short time

     Solenoid valve did not open due to damaged coil or broken cable; replace solenoid valve or fix circuit break, check voltage at terminal 17.
