Operating Instructions for Inclined Scraper Chain Conveyor, Application Scope and Features:(1)The screw conveyor is a widely used conveying equipment in chemical, building materials, grain, and other sectors, mainly for transporting powdered, granular, and small lump materials. It is not suitable for conveying perishable, sticky, and easily agglomerated materials. (2) The operating environmental temperature for the screw conveyor is —20~50℃ ; the conveyor's inclination angle β≤20°; the conveying length is generally less than 40m, with a maximum not exceeding 70m. (3) Compared to other conveying equipment, the screw conveyor has advantages such as simple structure, small cross-sectional dimensions, good sealing performance, the ability to load and unload at multiple points along the length, safe and convenient operation, and low manufacturing cost. Its disadvantages include severe wear on components, lower conveying capacity, high power consumption, and the tendency for materials to break during transportation.

During transportation, materials can also be stirred, mixed, heated, and cooled. Material flow can be regulated through discharge gates. However, it is not suitable for conveying perishable, highly viscous, easily agglomerated, or large lump materials. Materials are prone to breakage during transportation, and the screw and trough are susceptible to wear. The unit power consumption is relatively high. Vertical screw conveyors are suitable for short-distance vertical conveying. Flexible screw conveyors consist of a flexible shaft and synthetic rubber blades, which are easy to bend and can be arranged arbitrarily according to site or process requirements for spatial conveying. Screw conveyor blades can be either wound or solid; wound blades can be made to any thickness and specification, while solid blades are not suitable for non-standard screws.
