Working principle:When the spiral shaft rotates, due to the gravity of the material and the friction between the material and the trough wall, the material can only be pushed forward along the bottom of the conveyor's trough by the blades, much like a non-rotating nut moving translationally along a rotating screw. The movement of the material at the intermediate bearings relies on the thrust from the material advancing behind it. Therefore, the transportation of material in the conveyor is entirely a sliding motion. To keep the spiral shaft in a favorable tension state, the driving device and discharge outlet are generally placed at the same end of the conveyor, while the feed inlet is positioned as close as possible to the other end.The rotating spiral blades push the material forward for conveyance. The force preventing the material from rotating with the spiral blades is the material's own weight and the frictional resistance from the conveyor's casing. The blade profiles vary based on the material being conveyed, including solid-face, belt-type, and blade-type profiles. At the end of the material movement direction, the spiral shaft has a thrust bearing to withstand the axial reaction force from the material. For longer conveyors, intermediate hanging bearings should be added.

        When material is fed into the fixed trough, due to gravity and friction between the material and the trough, the material accumulated at the bottom does not rotate with the spiral body but is pushed forward by the rotating spiral blades, similar to a non-rotating nut moving translationally along a rotating screw, achieving the purpose of material conveyance. This machine facilitates multi-point loading and unloading, and during transportation, it can simultaneously perform mixing, stirring, or cooling functions. It is sensitive to overload and prone to clogging; it causes some crushing and loss of material. The horizontal spiral conveyor has a simple structure, making it easy to install, maintain, and troubleshoot. It is suitable for continuous and uniform conveyance of loose materials horizontally or with a slight incline (below 20º), with an operating environment temperature of -20 to +40℃ and a material temperature range of -20 to +80℃.
