CSC-831M Low Voltage Motor Protection and Control Device

The CSC-831M is an intelligent, digital low-voltage motor protection and control device, suitable for motors with AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated voltage of 380V, and various rated currents. It protects against hazards caused by motor faults such as overload, locked rotor, phase loss, reverse phase sequence, imbalance, ground or leakage, over/under voltage, and underload. It is applicable for TE time protection of increased safety explosion-proof motors and features functions including measurement, operational control, diagnostic maintenance, and communication.

The CSC-831M Motor Protection and Control Device can be used in industries such as power, petrochemical, metallurgy, and coal, where AC motor protection and control are required. In conjunction with contactors, soft starters, and molded case circuit breakers, it provides a comprehensive integrated solution for low-voltage AC motor circuits, combining control, protection, measurement, and communication. It replaces conventional thermal relays, thermal protectors, leakage protectors, under-voltage protectors, and various separate protection devices, eliminating the need for additional components such as time relays, intermediate relays, auxiliary relays, measurement instruments, control and selector switches, indicators, programmable controllers, and transmitters. It is an ideal choice for intelligent MCCs. The device can replace various conventional electrical components such as pointer-type electrical meters, signal lights, thermal relays, and analog transmitters, reducing cabinet wiring and installation工作量. The Low Voltage Motor Protection and Control Device includes two versions: the Basic Version and the Petrochemical Version. The Basic Version model is CSC-831M, and the Petrochemical Version model is CSC-831MS. Unless otherwise specified, the functions described for the Basic Version CSC-831M also apply to the Petrochemical Version CSC-831MS.
