Alias: Polyamino Polyether Methylene Phosphonic Acid Relative Molecular Weight: Approx. 600 Structural Formula: I. Product Performance PAPEMP is the latest generation of water treatment agent, featuring high chelating and dispersing properties, excellent calcium tolerance, and outstanding scale inhibition performance. This agent can be used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor in circulating cooling water systems, especially suitable for high-hardness, high-alkalinity, and high-pH circulating cooling water systems and oilfield water treatment. It demonstrates superior scale inhibition for calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, and calcium sulfate, effectively inhibits silica scale formation, and exhibits good stabilization of metal ions such as zinc, manganese, and iron.
PAPEMP is used as a membrane scale inhibitor in reverse osmosis systems, scale and corrosion inhibitor in multi-stage flash systems with high salt content, high turbidity, and high temperature (e.g., scale inhibition in high-temperature and high-turbidity water systems of coal gasification), textile and dyeing auxiliaries, and papermaking auxiliaries (anti-yellowing agent). It can replace EDTA, DTPA, NTA, etc. II. Quality Specifications Item | Specification | Appearance | Amber transparent liquid | Active component (as PAPEMP) % ≥ | 40.0 | Phosphoric acid (as PO43-) % ≤ | 1.0 | Density (20℃) g/cm3 | 1.20±0.05 | pH (1% aqueous solution) | 2.0±0.5 |
III. Usage Method The normal dosage of PAPEMP is 5–100 mg/L. Unlike other agents, PAPEMP performs better with higher dosages. It can be compounded with polycarboxylic acids, etc. Higher dosing amounts enable operation at high concentration multiples. IV. Packaging and Storage PAPEMP is packaged in plastic drums, 30 kg per drum. Store PAPEMP in a cool, indoor place with a storage period of ten months. V. Safety Precautions PAPEMP is acidic. Pay attention to labor protection during operation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. |
