XDD-HTP biocide is a synergistic blend of multiple bactericidal components, including sodium pyrithione (a highly effective antifungal agent) and hexahydrotriazine. It is a highly efficient broad-spectrum biocide targeting both bacteria and fungi.
Mechanism of Action:
It acts on fungi by penetrating the cell membrane and inhibiting the transport of essential nutrients, leading to microbial death due to nutrient deprivation. For bacteria, it functions by reacting with critical amino and protein groups that control cellular respiration, thereby suffocating the bacteria.
