Wood preservative

This product is a liquid, non-complex wood preservative salt produced by BASF of Germany, based on inorganic copper and boron compounds as well as organic copper compounds. It provides preventive action against wood-destroying fungi, including those causing soft rot, and wood-destroying nematodes, but is not effective against blue stain fungi and molds. Once fixed in the wood, the preservative is highly resistant to leaching, weather-resistant, and harmless to plants. It is used for the preservation of shaped wood for both indoor and outdoor applications. This product can be applied to wood in contact with soil and water, and is particularly suitable for use in horticulture and landscape architecture, posts, trellis supports, fences, playground equipment, and decking.
