Iodophor Concentrate

This product serves as an active pharmaceutical ingredient for the production of medical povidone-iodine disinfectants. Enterprises with formulation production capabilities or the formulation departments of medical and health institutions can dilute it with distilled or deionized water to various concentrations of iodine preparations with effective iodine concentrations ranging from 0.2% to 1.0%, based on the labeled effective iodine concentration of the product. It can then be used to disinfect skin and mucous membranes, as well as skin wounds, following the application scope and methods of iodine disinfectants. Compared to traditional iodine tincture disinfectants, it offers advantages such as being non-irritating and easy to decolorize. This product is an active ingredient for skin disinfectants and disinfectant washes, and it can replace skin disinfectants like iodine tincture, mercurochrome, gentian violet, benzalkonium chloride, and chlorhexidine. It is diluted to the required effective iodine concentration for disinfection purposes.
