Traditional tunnel cooling methods rely on ventilation, which draws fresh air from the tunnel entrance and delivers it near the excavation face. However, in long tunnels, the air heats up due to prolonged exposure to high temperatures from the surrounding rock, reaching nearly the same temperature as the tunnel environment before it arrives at the work area, rendering the cooling effect minimal. Efficiently and economically reducing high temperatures in deep, long tunnels during construction to improve the working environment is an urgent issue. Therefore, a movable, custom-designed freezing air unit must be installed in the tunnel to provide localized cooling in the work area, lowering the temperature and creating a cooler environment for construction personnel.

Working Principle

Select a location in the tunnel to place the cooling freezing air unit. It extracts air from the tunnel, cools it, and uses it as a cold source. The fan then delivers this cold air to the mining work area for effective cooling, reducing the temperature to the desired level.
