Grain Storage Cooling Air Conditioning Unit
Low or medium temperature grain storage is a temperature-controlled storage method that maintains grain at a low temperature below 18°C by regulating the storage temperature, thereby enhancing grain storage stability. Grains have strong respiratory activity, and their nutritional components are lost as the grain temperature increases. Temperature control in grain storage effectively reduces the loss of nutritional components and quality changes, thus preserving the freshness and quality of the grain.
Function of the Unit
When the air temperature is higher than the grain temperature and humidity increases, natural ventilation should be promptly stopped, and mechanical ventilation should be adopted instead. The grain storage cooling air conditioning unit delivers dehumidified, refrigerated, low-temperature fresh air as a cold source into the grain storage, mechanically cooling the grain, food, and stored items inside. This ensures that the temperature inside the grain storage reaches the effective storage temperature.
Grain Cooling Principle
The cooled air from the grain storage cooling air conditioning unit enters the grain pile through the air inlet at the bottom of the ground cover. The cold air is delivered from the bottom upward or spreads outward, reducing the grain temperature as it passes through the grain pile. The air, after passing through the grain pile, enters the unit again through the air duct for further cooling and circulation. Within a certain period, the grain temperature is reduced to the storage preservation temperature.
Grain Surface Temperature Control Principle
During summer and autumn, when external temperatures are high, the temperature of the grain surface space increases, affecting the grain temperature. The grain surface temperature control unit primarily cools the upper grain surface space, maintaining the temperature inside the grain storage below 18°C to ensure the grain pile remains at an average low temperature below 18°C for an extended period. The unit requires air supply and return ducts to be connected inside the grain storage, drawing air from the grain storage into the cooling air conditioning unit for cyclic cooling, effectively controlling the temperature and humidity inside the grain storage.

The integrated type is more widely applicable, with the main unit placed outdoors for space cooling, requiring only air ducts to be connected indoors for fresh air or recirculated air.
