【Technical Sharing】Three Steps in Industrial Raw Material Inspection Technology!
Based on the specific characteristics of the raw material workshop's production operations, in terms of product quality control, we implement a three-level quality inspection system: individual self-inspection and mutual inspection, workshop inspection, and factory inspection, to ensure the stability and improvement of product quality.
First Level: Individual Self-Inspection and Mutual Inspection
Personnel at each process station continuously conduct self-operation inspections and mutual supervision between processes during the specific production process to ensure the production of qualified high-grade products, providing strong support for the stability of mass production.
1. Raw material batching inspection. When feeding raw materials, the feeding personnel strictly follow the batching list issued by the technical department, comparing the quantities of materials such as mud and sand, chemical materials, pebbles, and water to ensure accurate data and correct material usage. Additionally, when the ball mill operators load the balls, they double-check the quantities and types of raw materials, with feeding personnel and ball mill operators mutually supervising and inspecting each other.
2. Slurry performance inspection. Ball mill operators test the process parameters of the processed slurry. The slurry's flow rate, specific gravity, fineness, and moisture content must all pass inspection before it can be discharged into the pool. Spray tower furnace operators conduct random checks and verifications on the slurry pumped into the transfer tank, comparing the measured data (slurry fluidity, specific gravity, fineness, moisture content) with that from the ball mill section to identify discrepancies and criticize any substandard points from the previous process to ensure normal combustion conditions.
3. Slurry sieving and iron removal effect inspection. Pumping personnel take a small bucket of slurry from the storage tank, transfer tank, and color adjustment tank, and wash it through a 100-mesh standard inspection sieve. They observe the residue left in the sieve after washing to determine the effectiveness of sieving and iron removal.
4. Powder performance and quality inspection. Spray tower furnace operators test the moisture content and particle size distribution of the powder for each variety every 30 minutes during the spraying process to ensure strict adherence to process requirements. Additionally, furnace operators must wash the powder they spray every two hours using a 100-mesh standard inspection sieve to determine the effectiveness of sieving and iron removal from the previous process and the combustion and atomization effects of their own process. Furthermore, press feeding personnel conduct random inspections of the powder stored in the powder boxes, promptly adjust any substandard powder, and supervise the previous process personnel to make timely adjustments to the powder spraying process.
Second Level: Workshop Inspection
To have a thorough understanding of the quality status of product production, the workshop itself must be fully aware. To achieve this, our raw material workshop specially appoints batching personnel to comprehensively monitor and test the quality status of the products.
1. Slurry performance testing. Batching personnel conduct two random inspections per shift on the slurry performance, referring to the process parameters issued by the technical department, to supervise the authenticity and accuracy of the slurry index test data from each process.
2. Tracking the quality status of slurry and powder. To fully grasp the quality status of slurry and powder produced in the workshop, batching personnel wash the slurry twice per shift before spraying, observe the impurity content in the slurry, and supervise the iron removal effect. For the powder sprayed by the spray tower, they wash the powder twice per shift to randomly check the combustion effect. For the powder sent to the press, they wash the powder from each storage box twice to randomly check the iron removal effect. For the powder used by the press, they wash it twice per shift to track and understand the impurity content in the product.
3. Powder for press inspection. The success of quality control in the raw material workshop is reflected in the powder used by the press. Therefore, the batching section is the window of the raw material workshop production. For the powder used by the press, batching personnel must put great effort into testing and adjustment to ensure good coordination and the excellence of the powder.
Third Level: Factory Inspection
Special quality inspectors dispatched by the technical department conduct comprehensive testing of all process parameters in the raw material workshop to ensure strict adherence to the production process.
1. Tracking and recording of batching lists. The weighing supervisor tracks the quantity, type, and specifications of the raw materials fed by the feeding personnel throughout the process to ensure strict implementation of technical parameters.
2. Slurry performance testing. The ball mill quality inspector ensures that the data for each batch of slurry meets the standards before discharge.
3. Powder performance testing. The powder quality inspector tests the moisture content and particle size distribution of the powder used by the press once per hour, strictly adhering to the principle of using the first sprayed powder first to ensure the aging period of the powder.
Facts have proven that through the above three-level quality control methods, our powder quality has significantly stabilized and improved.
