Nanjing Aikang Analysis and Testing Center is located in the Chemical Industry Park of Jiangbei New District, Nanjing. It was established by Jiangsu Aikang Biomedical R&D Co., Ltd. as a window to provide analysis and testing technical services to the public. Since its establishment, the testing center has continuously developed and improved, adhering to industry-standard analysis and testing laboratories and the operational philosophy of "impartial behavior, scientific methods, accurate data, and efficient service," offering professional and efficient technical services to all sectors of society.

Our testing center currently possesses domestic high-resolution 400M automated nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers, Agilent LC-MS, GC-MS, high-performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, and a series of other large-scale analytical instruments. Karl Fischer Moisture Titration: Bangyi
The Karl Fischer method, proposed by Karl Fischer in 1935, uses a reagent composed of I2, SO2, pyridine, and anhydrous CH3OH (water content below 0.05%) to determine the water equivalent of the reagent. After the reagent reacts with the water in the sample, the water content in the sample is calculated based on the amount of reagent consumed. The International Organization for Standardization has designated this method as the international standard for measuring trace water content, and our country has also adopted it as the national standard for measuring trace water content. It is used to determine the moisture content in various substances and is currently a trusted moisture analysis and measurement instrument. It has a wide range of applications and is suitable for solid, liquid, and gas samples.

Residue on Ignition - Ash: Airu

Ash refers to inorganic matter, which can be the residue after calcination or the remaining matter after drying. However, ash must be the solid part of a substance, not the gas or liquid part. At high temperatures, a series of physical and chemical changes occur, ultimately causing organic components to volatilize and disperse, while inorganic components (mainly inorganic salts and oxides) remain. These residues are called ash.

After organic drugs are carbonized or inorganic drugs are decomposed by heating, they are moistened with sulfuric acid and ignited first at low temperature and then at high temperature (700~800°C) until completely ashed. Organic matter decomposes and volatilizes, and the remaining non-volatile inorganic impurities (mostly metal oxides or inorganic salts) become sulfates, known as residue on ignition.
