Working Principle: By applying electrical pulses to the ultrasonic transducer, the transducer emits ultrasonic waves that penetrate the heel of the subject and reach another ultrasonic transducer. Since the speed and attenuation of ultrasound vary when passing through different bone densities, the ultrasonic bone densitometer calculates parameters such as T-Score (T-value) and Z-Score (Z-value) based on SOS (Speed of Sound) and BUA (Broadband Ultrasound Attenuation). The results are displayed on the screen or printed for doctors to diagnose and reference.
Scope of Application: Measures bone density in the heel using ultrasound technology.

The top-left section of the interface displays the subject's information, including ID, name, gender, age, and test time. The bottom-left section shows measurement results: SOS, BUA, Bone Quality Index, T-value, and Z-value. The right side of the interface displays a comparison chart of the subject's measured bone quality index against reference values for the corresponding age. The horizontal axis represents the subject's age (range 20–100 years), and the vertical axis represents the reference bone quality index values for different ages. Among the three curves, the middle red line indicates the average value for different ages, while the upper and lower black lines represent the maximum and minimum values for different ages, respectively. If the measurement point falls in the green area, indicating a higher bone quality index, it suggests healthier bones; if it falls in the yellow area, it indicates an average bone condition; if it falls in the red area, indicating a lower bone quality index, it suggests poorer bone health.
Recommended External Device Configuration: The OSTEOKJ3000M and OSTEOKJ3000M+ models come with a built-in thermal printer and require an external computer system (including a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and optionally a color printer) or an external tablet. For models requiring external devices, proper connection and software installation are necessary for normal operation.
