ABI is the ratio of ankle systolic blood pressure to brachial systolic blood pressure. Based on the results, it can determine the stenosis or obstruction of lower limb arteries. ABI is significant for the diagnosis and postoperative monitoring of obstructive arteriosclerosis.
PWV/ABI Testing Applicable Population:
(1) Individuals aged 20 years or older; those diagnosed with hypertension (including borderline hypertension), hyperlipidemia, diabetes (including elevated fasting blood glucose and impaired glucose tolerance), coronary heart disease, and stroke;
