PFA Condensation Reflux Device with PFA Flask, PFA Condenser, and PFA Separatory Funnel

I. Equipment List and Description:

1. PFA Reaction Bottle

Made of PFA, semi-transparent, resistant to strong acids and alkalis. Commonly used sizes are 500ml and 1000ml, with other specifications available. For three necks or more, it is recommended to choose a size above 500ml. Optional features include a liquid level gauge to observe the amount of liquid inside. The bottleneck and bottle body are sealed with threads, making installation and disassembly convenient and easy to clean. Custom diameters (17mm/19mm/24mm openings) can be processed according to customer requirements.

2. 500ml Receiving Bottle Setup

Currently, there are two options for the receiving bottle setup: one uses a PTFE reaction bottle as the receiving device, and the other uses an FEP reagent bottle as the receiving bottle. The FEP reagent bottle requires additional connectors at the joints. FEP material is resistant to acids and alkalis and is transparent, allowing visibility of the solution inside. The PFA reaction bottle is also transparent, enabling observation of the internal state.

3. PFA Condenser Tube

The PFA condenser tube is an improved version based on the structure of glass condenser tubes, with the same basic principles. Fillers, such as PTFE balls, can be added inside the condenser tube to increase the surface area for condensation reflux. It can be directly connected to a flask to form a condensation reflux setup or connected to a PTFE adapter for condensation reflux into a receiving bottle.

4. PFA Constant Pressure Dropping Funnel

The PFA constant pressure dropping funnel, also known as a constant pressure separatory funnel, is a type of separatory funnel. Like other separatory funnels, it can be used for separation, extraction, and other operations. Unlike other separatory funnels, the constant pressure separatory funnel maintains internal pressure unchanged, which prevents backflow, ensures smooth flow of liquid from the funnel, and minimizes the impact of added liquid on gas pressure, making gas volume measurements more accurate.

Tube connection. The experimental operation process is easy to control and reduces labor intensity. When separating large volumes of liquid, simply adjusting the three-way valve allows both liquids in the funnel to flow into the lower tube simultaneously, completing the process in one step without changing containers.

5. FEP Separatory Funnel

The funnel wall has no adhesion or adsorption to solvents, allowing complete drainage with a clear interface. It has good sealing properties, preventing chemical penetration from the separatory funnel. The piston device is easy to dismantle for cleaning. High transparency allows users to observe liquid changes in the cavity during actual sample separation. The control valve, made of high-purity laboratory-grade PTFE material, allows flexible flow control. Compared to glass separatory funnels, its advantages include the ability to separate hydrofluoric acid, durability for long-term use, smooth inner walls that do not adhere to any substances, and easy cleaning.
