The Soil pH Sensor adopts NB-IoT/LoRa/LoRaWAN standard transparent transmission protocol, enabling simultaneous multi-point monitoring, networking, and remote transmission. It is suitable for various environments, particularly for soil and wastewater treatment applications. To facilitate engineering networking, the soil pH sensor effectively addresses the shortcomings of traditional soil pH measurement methods, which require specialized display instruments, cumbersome calibration, difficult integration of wiring methods, high power consumption, high cost, and portability issues. It is an intelligent upgrade to industrial pH meters, capable of continuous measurement and control of soil and wastewater pH. Usage Method
Measurement Area
The measurement area is: a cylinder centered between the two probes, with a diameter of 5cm and the same height as the probes. As shown in the figure below:
Select an appropriate measurement location, avoiding rocks, and ensure the steel needles do not encounter hard objects. Remove the surface soil to the desired measurement depth, maintaining the original soil compactness. Firmly grip the sensor and insert it vertically into the soil without shaking it sideways. It is recommended to take multiple measurements within a small area of a single point and average the results.

Buried Measurement Method
Dig a vertical pit with a diameter >20cm and insert the sensor steel needles horizontally into the pit wall at the desired depth. Fill the pit firmly and allow it to stabilize for a period before conducting continuous measurements and recordings for days, months, or even longer.
Precautions
1. During measurement, the probes must be fully inserted into the soil.
2. Take precautions against lightning strikes when used in the field.
3. Do not forcefully bend the probes, pull the sensor cables violently, or drop or impact the sensor harshly.
4. The sensor has an IP68 protection rating and can be fully immersed in water.
5. Due to the presence of radio frequency electromagnetic radiation in the air, it is not advisable to keep the sensor powered on for extended periods in the air.
