Stabilizing winch is just the common name people use; its full name is shaft sinking winch. Because its speed is adjustable and stable, and the tonnage is set according to different needs, it is frequently used in mining units.
Mainly used in coal mine shaft sinking projects for suspending platforms, water pumps, ventilation ducts, compressed air cylinders, grouting pipes, and other excavation equipment, as well as tensioning stabilizing ropes. It can also be used for lifting heavy objects underground and on the surface.
Commonly used winches in coal mines include: hoisting and transport winches used in underground inclined roadways and vertical shafts to lift coal, gangue, and other materials or transport equipment; dispatching winches used in flat or inclined roadways for vehicle scheduling or auxiliary lifting; pillar recovery winches used in coal mining faces to dismantle and recover equipment or supports; endless rope winches used in flat and inclined roadways to transport materials. There are various classification methods for winches, generally using the following:
1. According to the transmission method: gear-driven winches and hydraulic-driven winches.
2. According to the number of drums: single-drum winches and double-drum winches.
3. According to the wire rope winding method: winding winches and friction winches.
4. According to explosion-proof performance: explosion-proof winches and non-explosion-proof winches.
5. According to drum diameter and usage: winches for lifting materials with a drum diameter of 2 meters or less, and main hoisting devices with a drum diameter of more than 2 meters.
Main hoisting devices refer to winches that include personnel hoisting winches and winches for lifting materials with a drum diameter of more than 2 meters. Winches are classified by power into pneumatic, manual, electric, and hydraulic types. By application, they can be classified into construction winches and marine winches. By function, winches can be divided into: marine winches, engineering winches, mining winches, cable winches, etc. By drum type, they are divided into single-drum and double-drum. By drum arrangement, they are further divided into parallel double-drum and front-rear double-drum.
Shaft sinking stabilizing winches, also known as stabilizing platform winches or shaft sinking winches, are commonly used lifting equipment in coal mine underground operations. The JZ series shaft sinking winches are mainly used in coal mines, metal mines, and non-metal mines for suspending platforms, water pumps, water pipes, grouting pipes, ventilation ducts, and other excavation equipment, as well as tensioning stabilizing ropes during shaft sinking. These winches are designed based on the working characteristics of suspended equipment during shaft sinking. They are only for short-term use and should not be used for long-term heavy lifting operations.

I. Product Introduction
The JZ series stabilizing winch (stabilizing platform winch, shaft sinking winch) has two working speeds: fast and slow. For loads above 50%, only the slow speed can be used; for loads below 50%, both fast and slow speeds can be used.
The double-drum winch uses two ropes for suspension. When suspending ventilation ducts, place the speed reduction handle in the differential position to ensure the duct remains vertical to the ground. When suspending a platform, place the differential handle in the direct position.
This series of winches is a standardized product with a compact structure, light weight, and *** usage.
The following regulations must not be exceeded:
(1) In vertical shafts, for lifting personnel or personnel and materials: 1 layer; for lifting materials only: 2 layers;
(2) In inclined roadways, for lifting personnel or personnel and materials: 2 layers; for lifting materials: 3 layers.
(3) The critical section where the wire rope transitions from the lower layer to the upper layer (equivalent to 1/4 of the length) must be regularly inspected, and the wire rope should be moved by 1/4 of its position every quarter.
Warnings:
(1) This hoist must not be used in environments with flammable or explosive gases such as methane or coal dust!
(2) This hoist must not be operated overloaded!
(3) Over-speed operation and power-off sliding are strictly prohibited!
II. Structural Features and Working Principle
The hoist mainly consists of the main shaft device, rope adjustment mechanism (double-drum), disc brake device, depth indicator, reducer, lubrication station, tachogenerator device, coupling, motor, control console, hydraulic system, and electrical control system.
Working principle: When the main motor is started, power is transmitted from the motor rotor through the low-speed coupling to the high-speed shaft of the reducer. After two-stage gear transmission reduction, the power is transferred from the reducer's driven shaft to the main shaft device via the coupling. By continuously changing the motor's direction, the drum can wind or unwind the wire rope, while the lifting container moves up and down periodically in the shaft.
