Molybdenum Disulfide 968 Salt

Product Characteristics: Black-silver-gray lustrous powder with a greasy feel. Mohs hardness 1–1.5, melting point 1600°C, begins oxidizing at 1200°C. Can be attacked by aqua regia and partially dissolved. Insoluble in other acids, alkalis, solvents, petroleum, and synthetic lubricants. Does not react with general metal surfaces and does not corrode rubber materials. Can serve as an excellent solid lubricating material. Used in the production of high-quality molybdenum disulfide extreme-pressure lubricating grease. Particularly suitable for manufacturing resin components such as polytetrafluoroethylene, nylon, polyethylene, rubber, polyurethane, and other resin products, providing lubrication and wear resistance. This product also disperses well in mineral oil, forming a non-cohesive colloidal state, with part suspended in the oil without stratification or sedimentation. It is oxidation-resistant and thermally stable. Enhances the anti-wear, extreme-pressure resistance, lubrication, anti-foaming, oxidation resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance of lubricating oils and greases.

Applications and Functions: 1. Can serve as an excellent solid lubricating material for producing various greases: acts as an additive for anti-wear, extreme-pressure resistance, oxidation resistance, acid corrosion resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. Recommended dosage is 2–3%, directly mixed into the grease. Examples include molybdenum disulfide extreme-pressure lithium-based grease, complex lithium-based grease, complex calcium-based grease, synthetic grease, non-soap-based high-end greases, etc.

2. Used as a solid lubricant, applied directly by brushing or adding to lubrication points. Suitable for high-temperature lubrication (600°C–1000°C) and environments with high temperatures and chemical corrosion, offering excellent lubrication performance.

3. Production of self-lubricating components: Mixed with resins and injection-molded to produce resin bearings and other parts. Mixed with metal materials and cast to produce metal self-lubricating bearings and other components.

4. Release agent: Used as a release agent in metal, non-ferrous metal, rubber, plastic, and other injection molding industries.

Packaging, Transportation, Storage: Net weight 25 kg in plastic composite bags or plywood drums. The product is non-flammable and non-corrosive. Transport as general inorganic chemical products. Store in a dry, ventilated place, protect from rain. Seal the bag tightly after use to prevent moisture absorption and caking.
