3. Appearance: Colorless to yellow viscous oily transparent liquid with a special pungent odor.

5. Chemical Properties: Strongly alkaline, low volatility liquid, miscible and stable with methanol, ethanol, gasoline, diesel, vegetable oil, and fatty acids in various proportions at room temperature. Aqueous solution is a strong base, reacts with acidic oxides, acid anhydrides, aldehydes, ketones, and halides, and can corrode metals such as aluminum, zinc, copper, and their alloys. Reacts with mineral oils to form stable alkaline hydrocarbons.

6. Solubility: Soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, and most organic solvents such as chlorinated paraffin, mineral oil, and vegetable oil.

7. Uses: Used as a solvent, rubber additive, surfactant, emulsifier, detergent, water softener. Ashless dispersant for synthetic lubricants, composite additive for internal combustion engine oils, additive for synthetic fuel oil, gasoline, diesel, and civilian stove oil.

8. Precautions for Use: Strongly alkaline, do not ingest. Ensure ventilation during use, avoid ignition sources, store in a cool place, and avoid mixing or transporting with acidic substances.

9. Transportation and Storage: Can be transported by box trucks or covered vehicles or trains. Should not be mixed with acidic or oxidizing substances during transportation.
