Plastic TPE elastomer material slip agent

Slip agents are functional additives incorporated during plastic processing, primarily composed of amide compounds or silicone-based substances. Their function is to disperse into the material through melt extrusion and migrate to the surface to form a lubricating layer, reducing the coefficient of friction to below 0.2, significantly enhancing the material's resistance to mechanical stirring and shear performance.

This product is widely used in the production of daily necessities such as polypropylene films and TPE elastomers, improving the cutting operability, anti-blocking properties, and surface gloss of the products. The typical addition amount is 0.05%-0.5% of the raw material weight. Some models also function as release agents, enhancing the molding efficiency of plastic products.

• It is necessary to fully mix with the base material for 15-20 minutes to ensure dispersion uniformity.

• For film products, a three-layer co-extrusion process is recommended, concentrating the slip agent in the surface layer.

• Storage should avoid light and moisture; after opening, use within 24 months.
