Product Characteristics

IRGANOX 1010 is a highly efficient, non-discoloring hindered phenolic antioxidant. It can be used in plastics, synthetic fibers, elastomers, adhesives, waxes, oils, and fats to prevent thermal oxidative degradation of substrates.

Applications: IRGANOX 1010 is applicable in a range including polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutylene, and olefin copolymers like EVA. It is also recommended for other types of polymers, such as polyacetal resins, polyamides, polyurethanes, polyesters, PVC, styrene homopolymers or copolymers, ABS, elastomers (including butyl rubber, SBS, SEBS, EPM, EPDM, and other types of synthetic rubber), adhesives (natural and synthetic binders), and other organic materials.
Function

IRGANOX 1010 has strong resistance to extraction, low volatility, good compatibility, and is odorless. It can be used in combination with other types of additives, such as secondary antioxidants (sulfides, phosphites), light stabilizers, etc. The combination of IRGANOX 1010 with IRGAFOS 168 or HP-136 (corresponding products are IRGANOX B series, IRGANOX GX series) exhibits significant synergistic effects.
