Modified Ethylene Bis Stearamide HEEBS

Solubility: Insoluble in water, insoluble in ethanol and most solvents at room temperature, soluble in hot chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, but precipitates upon cooling. Stable in acidic, alkaline, and aqueous media.
Appearance: White powder with a smooth and slippery feel. Relative density 0.98 (25°C), melting point 143°C–145°C, flash point 285°C.
Chemical Properties: The EBS molecular structure features non-polar long-chain alkyl groups at both ends and a polar bis-amide group in the middle. This symmetrical polar structure gives EBS excellent wetting and penetration capabilities. It exhibits significant wetting and dispersing effects on various pigments and filler powders. The well-matched polar and non-polar groups in EBS, along with its high molecular weight, make it insoluble in both alcohols and oils.

Applications:
1) Plastic Processing Aid: This product is suitable for all thermosetting and thermoplastic plastics. EBS provides excellent internal and external lubrication, anti-blocking, and anti-static properties, and significantly improves the dispersion of plastics or fillers. Therefore, it is widely used as a lubricant, release agent, slip additive, and plastic dispersant. Adding this product during plastic processing can improve resin melt flowability, increase efficiency, compensate for mold smoothness deficiencies, and make the products smooth, glossy, and uniformly colored.
2) This product can serve as an anti-blocking and slip agent for various polymer films or sheets. Adding 0.5~1% during blow molding not only prevents the occurrence of bubbles (fish eyes) but also makes plastic bag openings smooth and easy to open.
3) In formulations of inorganic-filled PVC and polyolefins, this product, when combined with primary stabilizers, significantly enhances the heat and weather resistance of polymer materials. Due to EBS's strong affinity for pigments or fillers, it improves the dispersion and coupling of fillers in polymers, thereby increasing the commercial value of the products.
