1Product Introduction

The pressure-type water level gauge product uses an OEM pressure sensor with a stainless steel isolation diaphragm as the signal measurement element. It undergoes computer-automated testing and employs laser trimming technology for wide-temperature-range zero-point and sensitivity temperature compensation. The amplification circuit is housed within a stainless steel casing, converting the sensor signal into a standard output signal, fully leveraging the technical advantages of the sensor and giving the level transmitter excellent performance. It features strong anti-interference capabilities, minimal temperature drift, high stability, and high measurement accuracy, making it an ideal level measurement instrument for industrial automation.

2Product Principle

The pressure formula received by the sensor facing the liquid surface is: P = ρgh + Po, where:

P: Pressure on the sensor facing the liquid surface (for ease of understanding, hereafter referred to as pressure)

ρ: Density of the measured liquid

g: Gravitational acceleration (set to 9.815 during debugging)

Po: Atmospheric pressure on the liquid surface

h: Depth of the sensor immersed in the liquid

When the sensor is immersed to a certain depth in the liquid, the pressure of the measured medium is introduced into the positive pressure chamber of the sensor. The atmospheric pressure Po on the liquid surface is connected to the negative pressure chamber of the sensor via a cable air guide tube to offset the Po on the front of the sensor. Thus, the pressure measured by the sensor is ρgh. Clearly, by measuring the pressure P, the liquid level depth can be obtained.

Installation Requirements

All installation positions must use auxiliary materials such as PVC pipes or galvanized pipes to protect the pressure-type water level gauge probe and cable, avoiding damage caused by water flow. For measurement points with silt or other debris accumulation, protective devices that filter impurities should be used to protect the probe, and debris should be regularly cleaned to check for probe blockage.
