1.Product Principle:

The general principle of the FMCW radar water level gauge is that the radar emits electromagnetic waves from its installation position. These waves reflect off the medium and are received by the radar. The frequency difference δf between the received signal and the transmitted signal is proportional to the distance R to the surface of the medium: R = C (speed) * δf (frequency difference) / 2 / K (frequency modulation slope). Since the speed of light C and the frequency modulation slope K are known, the distance R from the radar installation position to the liquid surface can be calculated by determining the frequency difference δf. Then, by subtracting the spatial distance from the radar to the liquid surface (referred to as the empty height) from the known installation height, the liquid level height is obtained.
