Silica gel 40-100 mesh reagent grade for column chromatography

Column chromatography silica gel is a white powder, primarily composed of SiO₂·nH₂O. It is insoluble in water, inorganic acids, and other organic solvents but soluble in strong acids and strong bases. It can absorb moisture in the air. Due to its differential adsorption retention times for various substances, it enables the separation and purification of different materials.  

This product is mainly used for refining petroleum products to remove aromatic hydrocarbons, selective adsorption and separation of organic gases and liquids; as a catalyst carrier and chromatographic support; and also for the separation and purification of active ingredients in Chinese herbal medicine, as well as the preparation of high-purity substances.
