Type B Silica Gel 0.5-1.5mm Catalyst Carrier Silica Gel 60A

Type B silica gel is a translucent granular material, available in both spherical and lump forms. Its primary component is SiO2·nH2O, which is insoluble in water and inorganic acids but soluble in hydrofluoric acid and concentrated caustic alkali solutions. It exhibits high mechanical strength and excellent abrasion resistance. Its internal structure features a pore volume of 0.50–0.80 ml/g, pore size of 50–80 Å, and a specific surface area of 450–600 m²/g.

This product is mainly used as an air humidity regulator, catalyst and catalyst carrier, material for producing scented silica gel and bedding for feeders, as well as a raw material for fine chemical products such as chromatographic silica gel.
