It is insoluble in water and inorganic acids but soluble in hydrofluoric acid and concentrated caustic alkali solutions. It exhibits high mechanical strength. This product is a heterogeneous molded silica gel further processed from general-purpose silica gel. While retaining the pore structure and adsorption properties of conventional homogeneous silica gel, it also offers excellent water resistance, meaning it does not crack in water, thereby expanding the application fields of silica gel.
