1. ‌Physical Properties‌
   • Colorless transparent liquid with a slight special odor, density approximately 1.03-1.1063 g/cm³ at 25°C, boiling point 190-190.2°C, moderate flash point (non-flammable);
   • Easily soluble in alcohols, ethers, and other organic solvents, solubility in water at 20°C is 21.3%.

   • Contains ester group structure, chemical formula C₆H₁₀O₄, molecular weight 146.14;
   • Easily hydrolyzes to ethanol and acetic acid under acidic/alkaline conditions, weak oxidizing properties but flammable.

2. ‌Safety and Environmental Properties‌

   • Low toxicity (oral LD50 in rats >13,000 mg/kg), mildly toxic to aquatic organisms.

• ‌Coatings/Inks‌: Dissolves nitrocellulose and resins, improves leveling and drying speed.
• ‌Adhesives‌: Enhances bonding strength and durability of polymer adhesives.

• Effectively removes grease and resin residues, widely used in metal part degreasing and electronic component cleaning.

3. ‌Chemical Synthesis‌

• Pharmaceutical intermediate: Synthesizes drugs like furazolidone;
• Raw material for esterification reactions: Provides acetate groups for organic synthesis;
• Foundry curing agent: Accelerates resin core formation.

• ‌Cosmetics‌: Acts as a thickener/solvent, improves spreadability and ingredient dispersion;
