Textile wax emulsion

Textile Wax Emulsion is an oil-in-water emulsion of paraffin/polyethylene wax with cationic/nonionic properties. It features reactivity, film-forming capability, excellent stability, lubrication, and fabric softening performance. Effectively reduces friction between yarns and between yarn and machinery, has very low foam, hydrophilicity, good hand feel, and is easy to remove.

[Product Features]

1. Exhibits reactivity, excellent stability, lubrication, and fabric softening properties.

2. Very low foam, hydrophilic, good hand feel, and easy to remove.

3. Can be used in the same bath with cationic and nonionic lubricants (softeners).

4. When used for cotton yarn lubrication, it significantly improves the sewability of knitted fabrics and prevents needle hole formation.

5. Suitable for wet waxing of yarns; application is performed immediately after bleaching or dyeing in the dyeing machine.

6. Reduces friction between yarn and machinery when applied to yarns.

7. Good resistance to acids, alkalis, and salts.

[Application Performance]

1. Textile finishing: Yarn lubricant (smoothing agent), excellent needle hole preventer, improves the sewability, abrasion resistance, and tear strength of finished fabrics.

2. Overprint varnish: Suitable for water-based brighteners used in paper and film packaging materials, dosage is 8~10% of the entire formula.

3. Water-based adhesives: Reduces surface energy, modifies polarity, enhances tack retention, enabling the adhesive to withstand more extreme high and low temperature environmental factors. Suitable for preparing water-based adhesives, recommended addition amount is 10%～50%, typically used with EVA emulsions and tackifying resins, particularly suitable for packaging lamination (BOPP film, PE film, etc.) and edge sealing adhesives for water-based glazed paper surfaces.

4. Polyurethane coatings: Enhances the abrasion resistance of water-based polyurethane coatings, such as sealants for parquet floors.

5. Printing inks: Improves the abrasion resistance of water-based printing inks and reduces the friction coefficient on printed surfaces.

6. Floor polish: When compounded with styrene-acrylic polymer dispersions, it forms a dry, bright surface. The hardness and toughness of the wax provide good resistance to tire marks and extend the service life of these floor polishes.

7. Film-forming: Excellent compatibility with commonly used polymer dispersions, resin solutions, plasticizers, film-forming agents, and surfactants.

8. Wrinkle-resistant resin fiber protector.

[Usage Methods]

1. Yarn lubricant process:

Waxing in clear water after dyeing for pure cotton and other cellulose fibers, man-made fibers, wool, and wool blended fibers:

Dosage: 1~3% owf

Temperature: 25~50℃

Process: Maintain temperature for 10~15 minutes → Dehydration → Drying

2. Needle hole preventer process:

Dosage: 10~30g/L

Process: Padding at room temperature (one dip one nip) → Drying → Setting

3. Strength protection process:

Dosage: (Resin: 60~80g/L Catalyst: 10~15g/L Softener: 20~30g/L Strength protector 803: 10~20g/L Glacial acetic acid: Adjust pH to 4~5)

Process: One dip one nip or two dip two nip, 70%～80% expression → Drying at 120℃ → Curing at 140~170℃ for 30～60 seconds.

[Precautions]

1. Small-scale testing should be conducted first to determine the appropriate dosage;

2. If used in the same bath with other finishing agents, compatibility tests should be performed in advance.

[Storage & Packaging]

1. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, protect from sunlight and rain; shelf life is 6 months;

2. Packed in polyethylene plastic drums with inner plastic bags, 125KG per drum.
