Acrylic resin powder, cold-cast resin powder

• Product IntroductionThis product is also suitable for PCB, FPC, semiconductor technology, microelectronics technology, medical technology, optoelectronic technology, and other fields. Cold mounting resin powder (acrylic powder) and hardener are specialized cold mounting products for metallographic section samples, primarily made from imported acrylic resin. They offer excellent properties such as stable and rapid curing at room temperature, minimal bubbles, long-term storage without discoloration, high hardness, and resistance to acids and alkalis.

Appearance: Cold mounting resin powder: white powder with particle size below 100 microns, molecular weight 150,000 Mw~160,000 Mw. Hardener: Colorless to slightly yellow transparent liquid.                 

Flammability: Cold mounting resin powder is combustible when exposed to high temperatures or open flames. The hardener is a volatile and flammable substance.

• Usage MethodMix the hardener and cold mounting resin powder in a 1:1 ratio (by weight), stir slowly (to avoid artificial bubbles), then pour into the mold and allow it to fully cure. The curing time is approximately 7~8 minutes. This product contains a defoaming agent; if used correctly, bubbles generally do not form. For better sectioning, our company's Technomat vacuum pressure pot can be used.

Suitable temperature (°C): 10°C--45°C

Component ratio (by volume)  Cold mounting resin powder: Hardener = 1.4:1

• Safety Precautions
• 1.Avoid excessive inhalation of vapors; must be operated in a well-ventilated area;               
• 2. Avoid exposure to open flames and high temperatures during operation;
• 3. Store in a cool, dry place, away from fire sources and organic solvents;
• 4. Cold mounting resin powder and hardener must be stored separately!
