Functionality
K-ADP-USB Configuration Cable is a programming adapter product used to connect to the USB port of a PC/laptop for utilizing PACTware™ configuration software. It enables programming of K series, E series, and H series safety barrier products via the programming sockets located on their front panels. While all K, E, and H series devices are officially equipped with programming sockets, they feature different standard dimensions (3.55mm x 18.3mm, refer to drawing part 3—newer models use 3.5mm x 14mm, part 1). Therefore, the K-ADP-USB adapter includes a conversion head (part 2) for configuring all device parameters. The 18.3mm model can still be used for emergency operation commands. However, users must be aware that the insertion of newer models protrudes outward by approximately 4mm. Applying excessive force when pressing the plug may cause product damage.
