Function
KFD2-UT2-Ex2 Temperature Safety Barrier is suitable for intrinsically safe applications. This product is designed to connect RTDs, thermocouples, or potentiometers in hazardous areas and provides a proportional 0/4mA ...20mA signal to the safe area. The safety barrier offers 3-port isolation between the input, output, and power supply. When internal cold junction compensation is required, the detachable terminal block K-CJC-** for thermocouples can be used. Faults are indicated by a red LED flashing in accordance with NAMUR NE44 standard and a user-configurable fault output. The product can be easily programmed using PACTware™ configuration software.
When used with a power rail system, it provides a unique error acquisition signal transmission function.
