KCD2-UT2-Ex1 Temperature Transmitter Barrier is suitable for intrinsically safe applications. This device converts RTD or thermocouple input signals from hazardous areas into 0/4 mA ... 20 mA signals in safe areas. When internal cold junction compensation is required, the detachable terminal block KC-CJC-** for thermocouples can be selected. Faults are indicated via LED indicators compliant with NAMUR NE44 and user-configurable fault output signals.

When used with power rail products, this device supports error signal acquisition. It can be conveniently configured using PACTware™ configuration software.
