Based on the general vertical pipeline pump, it is ingeniously designed and manufactured. The ISG Type Vertical Pipeline Pump offers advantages such as energy efficiency and low noise.

Introduction to ISG Type Vertical Pipeline Pump:

The centrifugal pump in the ISG Type Vertical Pipeline Pump is named based on its principle. Let's use an analogy to explain the meaning of "centrifugal." Centrifugal force is actually a manifestation of an object's inertia. For example, water droplets on an umbrella: when the umbrella rotates slowly, the droplets follow the rotation due to the friction between the umbrella and the droplets acting as centripetal force. However, if the umbrella rotates faster, the friction is insufficient to keep the droplets in circular motion, and they will move outward, away from the umbrella—similar to a stone tied to a string and spun in a circle. If the speed is too high, the string will break, and the stone will fly away. This is the so-called centrifugal force. The ISG Type Vertical Pipeline Pump is designed based on this principle. The high-speed rotating impeller blades drive the water, flinging it out to achieve transportation.

The bearings of the ISG Type Vertical Pipeline Pump are components fitted onto the pump shaft to support it. There are two types: rolling bearings and sliding bearings. Rolling bearings use grease as a lubricant. The amount of grease should be appropriate, generally 2/3 to 3/4 of the volume; too much will cause overheating, while too little will result in noise and overheating. Sliding bearings use transparent oil as a lubricant, filled to the oil level line. Too much oil will leak along the pump shaft, while too little will cause the bearings to overheat and burn out, leading to accidents. During pump operation, the bearing temperature should not exceed 85°C, typically operating around 60°C. If the temperature is higher, investigate the cause (e.g., presence of impurities, darkened oil, water ingress) and address it promptly.

Shaft power increases with flow rate. When the flow rate Q=0, the corresponding shaft power is not zero but a certain value (about 60% of normal operation). This power is mainly consumed by mechanical losses. At this time, the pump is filled with water. Prolonged operation will cause the temperature inside the pump to rise continuously, heating the pump casing and bearings, potentially leading to thermal deformation of the pump body. This is referred to as "dead head." At this point, the head is at its maximum. As the discharge valve is gradually opened, the flow rate increases, and the shaft power slowly increases.

Applications of ISG Type Vertical Pipeline Pump:

The ISG Type Vertical Pipeline Pump is used for conveying clean water and other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water. It is suitable for industrial and urban water supply and drainage, high-rise building booster water supply, garden irrigation, fire protection boosting, long-distance transportation, HVAC refrigeration cycles, cold and hot water circulation boosting, and equipment matching. The operating temperature is < 80°C.

1. Compact structure, small size, and aesthetically pleasing appearance. Its vertical structure is low and centered on the pump foot, enhancing operational stability.

2. Easy installation. The inlet and outlet have the same diameter and are on the same centerline, allowing direct installation anywhere in the pipeline like a valve. The motor can be used outdoors with a rain cover. Installation feet are provided for stable pump mounting.

6. Flexible installation. The pump can be installed vertically, horizontally, or in multiple ways based on site conditions. For required flow and head, parallel or series configurations can be used.

Operating Conditions for ISG Type Vertical Pipeline Pump:

1. Suction pressure ≤ 1.0 MPa, or maximum system working pressure ≤ 1.6 MPa, i.e., pump suction pressure + pump head ≤ 1.6 MPa. The static pressure test pressure is 2.5 MPa. Please specify the system working pressure when ordering. If the system working pressure exceeds 1.6 MPa, please indicate separately so that cast steel materials can be used for the pump's flow parts and connections.

2. Ambient temperature < 40°C, relative humidity < 95%.

3. The solid particle content in the conveyed medium should not exceed 0.1% by volume, with particle size < 0.2 mm.

Note: If the medium contains fine particles, please specify when ordering so that wear-resistant mechanical seals can be used.
