The secondary screen removes small impurities; grain that passes through the upper screen falls onto the middle or lower layer screens with smaller apertures. At this stage, full grain particles continue to move on the screen surface, while small impurities like sand, broken grains, and small soil clumps fall through the screen holes and are collected and discharged through the small impurity outlet. After multiple layers of screening, clean, full grain particles flow out from the end of the screen surface and enter the next process or collection device.
