The Zhaodi IoT Smart Pest Monitoring Lamp converts solar energy into electricity during the day via solar panels and stores it in the internal battery. At night, leveraging the phototactic behavior of pests, the automatically lit lamp attracts pests from rice fields, cornfields, and vegetable plots. The pests are drawn to the light, collide with a transparent glass panel, and fall into a collection box.
Infrared high-temperature treatment is used to kill the pests, ensuring a lethality rate as high as 98% while preserving the integrity of the pest bodies. Compatible with Zhaodi's pest monitoring and prevention system as well as the plant protection IoT system, it is equipped with a 20-megapixel industrial camera to remotely photograph pests and automatically transmit the images to the IoT terminal. The entire system operates automatically, enabling functions such as automatic pest killing, counting, and identification without human supervision.
The IoT Smart Pest Monitoring Lamp has a wide range of applications and can be extensively used in agriculture, forestry, vegetable farming, tobacco, storage, brewing, gardens, orchards, urban greening, aquaculture, and more for the scientific control of pests and diseases. It can identify and monitor 1,287 pest species across 87 families, including cotton bollworms, scarab beetles, corn borers, fruit-piercing moths, and beet armyworms.
