Characteristics and Uses
This dispersant is soluble in water, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and ether solvents. It can adsorb onto various pigment surfaces and generate electrostatic repulsion to provide long-term stability to pigments. Due to its low foaming properties, it reduces foam during paint manufacturing. It is cost-effective and suitable for dispersing pigments such as titanium dioxide, lithopone, phthalocyanine blue, iron yellow, and calcite powder.
Usage Instructions
1. This dispersant is soluble in water, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and other organic solvents. It is easy to use, with an addition amount of (0.5–1)% of the pigment (solid/solid).
2. The pigment paste prepared with this dispersant, when added to latex paint, can improve the coating's hiding power, gloss, and scrub resistance.
3. The pigment dispersant should be stored at room temperature and protected from direct sunlight or freezing. The shelf life is one year from the production date.
