Main Uses:
1. Suitable for the pharmaceutical industry, it can be used as an internal medication for mild diarrhea and as a defoaming agent in penicillin production.
2. As an excipient, it is mainly used in topical preparations and can also be employed in water-in-oil emulsions. It serves as a solvent and lubricant in capsules and tablets, and can act as a release agent for cocoa butter suppositories.
