  Nature:

This product is a white or off-white powder; almost odorless; it is hygroscopic. This product is insoluble in water and ethanol.

Main Uses:
1. When crospovidone is used as a disintegrant in compressed tablets, it provides high hardness, short disintegration time, and high dissolution rate. It has strong stability and does not change over time.
2. Crospovidone can also be used as a dry binder, filler, and excipient for tablets, capsules, and granules. Smaller particle sizes can reduce single-sided spotting in tablets and improve tablet uniformity. The usual dosage is 20-80mg per tablet.
3. Cross-linked povidone can also be used as a dissolution enhancer. The co-evaporation technique improves the solubility of insoluble drugs by first adsorbing the drug onto crospovidone with a suitable solvent and then evaporating the solvent, resulting in faster dissolution rates.

Storage:
The finished product should be stored sealed in a cool, dry place.
